Balatonkenese is a popular holiday resort on the north-eastern shore of the Lake Balaton. The shore of the lake deepens here slowly therefore it is safe for families with little children as well. The guest house is situated on the promenade along the shore. The guest house is located in a pleasant environment, and it is furnished at a high standard, and is located in a 50 m distance from the free beach, and 800 m from the pay-beach. Shopping and catering facilities are located in the vicinity.
The town centre, the harbour and the railway station are in a distance of 1 kilometre.
The holiday house is a semi-detached house like building. Sides „A” and „B” of the building both have their own entrances. A swimming pool with water recirculation system serves the comfort of the guests. Sides „A” and „B” of the building can be booked together as well. Both sections of the guest house can be booked all year round. The house has central heating. You may book your apartment or room through the Internet and through telephone as well. On both sides of the building, 2 or 3 cars can be parked within the enclosed yard. We provide the facility of fishing for our guests on our floating stage on the Lake Balaton.

Section „A”
The apartment in side „A” of the building, is a two-storey elegantly furnished unit (80 m2) being suitable for the comfortable accommodation of 7 persons. On the ground floor there is a living room and a modern kitchen (gas cooker, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, micro-wave oven, utensils such as dishes and pots, plates, glasses, cutleries) with a diner corner. The cable TV is also installed here There is a double bedroom on this floor with a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The semi-circle shaped terrace opens from the living room, where garden furniture and a swing-bed serve the comfort of the guests. On the first floor there is a bedroom with three beds and with a balcony with a view to the Lake Balaton, and there is a double room as well. Every room is with a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The grill place is located in the yard. In the garden belonging to the guest house there is a swimming pool in the summer season with crystal clear water (5x3x1,2 m), which is surrounded by comfortable garden furniture offering pleasant relaxation to our guests. There is a pleasant shade under the covered pavilion in the garden. The illuminated pool provides a pleasant background for an enjoyable chat with the friends or family in the evening. For the security of children the pool can be approached through a locked gate.
Section „B”
The first floor with an own entrance in section „B” of the building is for rent. There is a room with three beds and a balcony, and a double room on the first floor. Every room is with a bathroom with shower and a toilet. Room with three beds: Balcony with a view to the Lake Balaton, kitchenette/refrigerator hidden in the built in furniture, with a mini electric cooker with two heater plates, sink, micro-wave oven, utensils, plates, cutlery, glasses, bed clothes, towels for three persons, and a cable TV.
Double room: Refrigerator, microwave oven, plates, cutlery, glasses, bed clothes, towels for two persons, and a cable TV. For its small size this room is recommended primarily for young people. The grill and the gas-cooking place with a marmite for the preparation of simple meals in the garden behind the house serve the comfort of the guests. The shade pavilion (3x3m) is located in this part of the garden, where there is garden furniture for five persons. The pool (5x3x1,2m) with the surrounding deck-chairs is also situated here. This area can be approached through a locked gate for the security of children.

1. Go up to the traffic sign indicating the way to Balatonakarattya on road 71 in the area of the inner city of Balatonkenese
2. Turn to the left immediately after the traffic sign showing the mentioned place name and cross the railway
3. Turn left to the second street (Vak Bottyán Str.) after the railway crossing
4. Approximately after 500 m turn left at the sign showing “Nyárfa sor, Parti sétány” turn left, then at the end of the street turn left again, there you will find the Adravilla, Parti sétány 100/A-B (a yellow house with a yellow fence)
Route from Budapest to Balatonkenese:
1. On the motorway M7 go as far as the 89 km traffic sign, and exit the motorway to the direction of Enying-Balatonfüred
2. On road 71 turn to Balatonfüred
3. The first settlement is Balatonakarattya, at the end of which, after the traffic sign showing the route to the “Vak Bottyán strand” and the railway crossing turn left and go across the railway crossing Our guests arriving by train should get off the train at the station Balatonkenese-Üdülőtelep or at the station Balatonkenese. From both stations you may get to the guesthouse on foot (approx. 1 km). Upon request we can provide a pick-up service to our guests.
Route from Hegyeshalom border crossing to Balatonkenese:
1. Border crossing – Austria-Hungary – Hegyeshalom
2. Motorway M1 to Győr
3. Exit from the motorway M1 at Győr, to the direction of Veszprém-Balaton (Road 82)
4. At the end of Road 82, at Veszprém, in the roundabout turn to the direction of Balaton-Veszprém
5. After 600 meters turn to the direction of Székesfehérvár (Road 8)
6. After 6 km turn right to the direction of Balatonfűzfő (Road 72)
7. At the end of Road 72 at Balatonfűzfő turn left (Road 71) to the direction of Balatonvilágos Motorway M7
8. The next settlement is Balatonkenese
Route from Sopron border crossing to Balatonkenese:
1. Border crossing – Austria and Hungary – at Sopron
2. Road 85 to Győr
3. On the boundary of Győr enter motorway M1 to the direction of Budapest
4. Take the exit from Motorway M1 at Győr, to the direction of Veszprém-Balaton (Road 82)
5. At the end of Road 82 at Veszprém, in the roundabout turn to the direction of Balaton-Veszprém
6. After 600 meters turn to the direction of Székesfehérvár (Road 8)
7. After 6 km turn right to the direction of Balatonfűzfő (Road 72)
8. At the end of Road 72 at Balatonfűzfő turn left (Road 71) to the direction of Balatonvilágos Motorway M7
9. The next settlement is Balatonkenese
Route from Rábafüzes border crossing to Balatonkenese:
1. Border crossing – Austria and Hungary – at Rábafüzesnél
2. Road 8 to the direction of Veszprém Székesfehérvár
3. After 6 km following Veszprém turn right to the direction of Balatonfűzfő (Road 72)
4. At the end of Road 72 at Balatonfűzfő turn left (Road 71) to the direction of Balatonvilágos Motorway M7
5. The next settlement is Balatonkenese

The Guest House was built in the most beautiful part of Sopron in the Lövverek, to approximately 15 minutes on foot from the town centre, and 400 metres from the West Hungary University.
Plenty of sights and cultural programs are recommended to the tourists in Sopron and in its vicinity. With a short walk from the guest house you may reach the tourist district, from where on the marked tourist paths you may wander about the area surrounding the town.
The ski resorts of Low Austria are located only 60 km from Sopron which offer excellent ski tracks and attractive services to the tourists
